SCHOOL VISIT: The Roman Thermal Baths of Aquae Calidae and Thermalism

On demand

When: on demand

Aquae Calidae, which we know today by the name Caldes de Malavella, was one of the Roman cities that existed in olden times in Catalonia. We will learn about it from a visit to the thermal baths complex, a building with 2,000 years of history that will enable you to learn about how the Romans lived, what thermal baths were, what uses they had and their evolution up to thermalism today and thermal spas. We will arrive at the La Mina hot spring source, where we will taste the thermal water and learn about its properties.
